Processing of Personal Data

Information pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 30/06/2003 n. 196.

(Code regarding the protection of personal data).

Agrofood Srl (hereinafter "Agrofood") will process the personal data provided by the user of the website www.agrofoodsrl.it (hereinafter "User"), in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data and in mainly electronic form . The treatment will concern the operations, or the complex of operations (such as, for example, the collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, communication, modification, selection, use, cancellation, destruction), mainly concerning the data provided by User subscribing to the free "Newsletter" service provided by Agrofood (hereafter the "Service"), as well as the data acquired by Agrofood for the purchase of Agrofood products and services both through the www.agrofoodsrl.it website (of followed by the "Site").

In particular, the treatment referred to above is carried out:

 

1) to be able to use the free service provided by Agrofood to send - also by e-mail, SMS and MMS - newsletters and communications with promotional, informative and / or advertising content in relation to Agrofood products or services (and of products and services of business partners), including free products, prize-giving events promoted by the same, as well as market research (by contacting the User by mail, telephone, e-mail) and the reporting of all initiatives dedicated to members to the Newsletter. Moreover, in case of consent of the User to the processing of his data for the purposes referred to in the following point

 

2), the commercial communications listed above may be customized based on the profile and preferences of the User, based on assessments made from Agrofood;2) with the consent of the User, for the performance of profiling activities, such as the analysis of consumer habits or consumption choices, dealing mainly with: a. the data entered during registration or possibly during the modification and / or integration phase. b. the data acquired on the occasion of the purchases made is on-line through the Site and at the Agrofood stores, therefore, also through the identification of the type and frequency of purchases; c. the data relating to the User's participation in any prize-giving events organized by Agrofood as well as the methods for benefiting from the purchases made on-line through the Site. The information obtained will enable Agrofood to create profiles (individual and / or aggregated) ) Users, to process market analysis and statistics also to improve Agrofood products and services and make them more responsive to users' needs, and to send to the User - always and only with his consent - more targeted information and offers that can be, in the opinion of Agrofood, of greater appreciation and interest for the User.

 

With respect to the purposes referred to in point 1), the provision of data marked as mandatory on the registration form is necessary to be able to use the Service and any refusal to provide such data will result in Agrofood being unable to perform the Service required. To perform the processing for this purpose it is not necessary to acquire the consent of the User.

 

With respect to the purpose referred to in point 2), the provision of data is optional and any refusal to provide such data (and to grant the relative consent) does not affect the possibility for the User to be able to use the Service referred to in point 1), it being understood that in this case Agrofood could, for example, not be able to send to the User more targeted information and offers and that could be, in the opinion of Agrofood, of greater appreciation and interest for the User. Any consent issued by the User may be revoked and / or modified at any time by contacting the data controller, as identified below.

 

For the correct performance of the aforementioned activities, the data will be mainly accessed by Agrofood's marketing and IT staff, as well as by the personnel of some Agrofood companies, which act as Agrofood's managers for the purposes indicated above. Furthermore, the data may be made available exclusively for the performance of their delegated activities, to Agrofood suppliers providing related services, such as in particular, companies providing IT services, including hosting services, companies that collaborate in the analysis of the characteristics of customers, companies that conduct market research on our behalf, organize commercial and promotional events and initiatives as well as companies that provide commercial services to Agrofood (eg transport and assembly). These subjects mainly operate as Agrofood's managers. A list of such third parties is available at Agrofood.

 

In case of request for deactivation and cancellation of the subscription to the Newsletter Service, which the User may at any time make upon receipt of the Newsletter (by clicking at the link at the end of the text), the User's data will be kept for a period not exceeding one quarter for exclusive administrative purposes (excluding any marketing or analysis of habits and consumption choices).
